Your Rights

Both Swiss and European data protection laws grant you extensive rights as a data subject, provided that your personal data is processed. We would like to support you in exercising your rights in the best possible way. Below is a list of your rights and how you can exercise them when using Medicosearch:

1Right of access: After sufficient identification, you may request access to all personal data related to you. We are always happy to assist you at datenschutz@medicosearch.ch.

2Right to rectification: You can update your personal data at any time under "Profile" in your Medicosearch account. If the desired correction and/or completion of your data is not possible there, we are always happy to assist you at datenschutz@medicosearch.ch.

3Right to restriction of processing: You can instruct us at any time to restrict the processing of your personal data. We are always happy to assist you at datenschutz@medicosearch.ch.

4Right to deletion: In your Medicosearch account under "Settings," you can delete your Medicosearch account independently 30 days after your last appointment. In individual cases, the right to deletion may be excluded, especially if further processing is necessary to assert legal claims. If you have any questions, we are always happy to assist you at datenschutz@medicosearch.ch.

5Right to notification: If you have exercised your right to rectification, deletion, or restriction of the processing of your personal data, you can additionally instruct us to inform all recipients to whom the relevant personal data has been disclosed about the rectification, deletion, or restriction of processing, unless this is impossible or involves disproportionate effort. 6Right to data portability: You can contact us at any time to receive your personal data in a structured, commonly used, and machine-readable format. We are always happy to assist you at datenschutz@medicosearch.ch.

7Right to object: If we process your personal data based on consent, you have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal only applies to the future; processing activities that were based on your consent in the past will not become unlawful due to your withdrawal. 8Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: Without prejudice to any other administrative or judicial remedy, you have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your personal data violates applicable data protection laws.
