I approached Dr Doell with issues that most gastoenterologists fear: - gastic motility - suspicion of disadvantageous bacteria or fungi in the intestines - lack of postprandial increase of stomach acid production - occassional unspecific bad feeling in the belly. I thank Dr Doell for being so open-minded to discuss these. In a collaborative approach, with contributions from both of us, we resolved my gastric motility complaints. Even more I thank Dr Doel for being open-minded to take samples from my stomach and duodenum and doing a fungal and bacterial culture. A part of the samples taken went to Belgium to a special laboratory for an advanced gut bacteria analysis that is used in scientific research. No problem, equally. Others wait for patients with classical problems such as an ulcer. Dr Doell helps.
